The Straub family’s four generations of industry experience building, developing, buying and selling, owning and managing single and multi-family rentals, apartment complexes, timber and ranch land offers property owners and investors a valuable combination of market experience. When our principle consultant and Licensed Property Manager Jim Straub decided to expand his services to the general public, he made a conscious decision to form a company focused on the maintaining excellence through individualized customer service.
Jim Straub’s many accomplishments mean you can rely on a depth and diversity of industry experience. These accomplishments include:
- President of the Rental Owners Association from 2007 to 2015, a local trade organization representing nearly 1,000 landlords in Lane County.
- Legislative Director – Oregon Rental Housing Association. The Oregon Rental Housing Association is a state-wide trade organization representing more than 5,500 landlords in Oregon.

As Past President of the Rental Owners Association and Legislative Director of the Oregon Rental Housing Association, partnered with his landlord support and consulting services expertise, Mr. Straub is in touch daily with the needs and challenges faced by landlords and real estate investors today. As a result, he has developed a strong foundation of practical hands-on experience combined with a deep understanding of local, state, and federal landlord-tenant, rental property and fair housing laws. And as Legislative Director, Mr. Straub helps draft Landlord-Tenant Law during Oregon Legislative sessions. As such, he is on the forefront of changes to existing law and has unique insight into the intent of new Landlord-Tenant Law. Mr. Straub was instrumental in securing the Housing Choice Landlord Guarantee Program as part of Oregon Speaker of the House Tina Kotek’s Housing Choice Act of 2013. This program is a fund for landlords who sustain damages to their rental properties by Section 8 tenants, and it’s creation was the result of Mr. Straub’s cooperative efforts with Speaker Kotek.
